Abstract
Complex
neural
systems
can
display
structured
emergent
dynamics.
Capturing

Dynamical
Independence
(DI)
to
uncover
the
dynamical

minimal
5-node
biophysical
model,

interplay

is
conscious
experience
related
to
material
brain
processes?
A
variety
of
theories
aiming
answer
this
age-old
question

emerged

recent

consciousness
research,
