Abstract Triacylglycerides (TAGs) are neutral lipids and one of the major energy storage forms in an insect aiding normal physiology including reproduction organism. Importance TAG metabolism gametogenesis has been investigated insects like mosquitoes, silkworm Drosophila . However, a direct association between levels egg‐to‐adult viability not explored. In this study, we have assessed both stored circulating melanogaster lines with varying genetic backgrounds established through inbreeding recombinant strategies. We found noticeable variation D. lines. Apparently higher also had viability. To validate this, analysis these variations supervised correlation unsupervised K‐means clustering showed that positively associated irrespective gender. The findings suggest promotes successful transition egg to adult. Taken together, only potential application husbandry ecologically economically important but holds importance translational research fertility vertebrates humans.

Cryopreservation presents a critical challenge due to cryo-damage, such as crystallization and osmotic imbalances that compromise the integrity of biological tissues cells. In contrast, various organisms in nature exhibit remarkable freezing tolerance, leveraging complex molecular mechanisms survive extreme cold. This review explores adaptive strategies freeze-tolerant species, including regulation specific genes, proteins, metabolic pathways, enhance survival low-temperature environments. We then discuss recent advancements cryopreservation technologies aim mimic these natural phenomena preserve cellular tissue integrity. Special focus is given roles glucose metabolism, microRNA expression, cryoprotective protein modulation improving outcomes. The insights gained from studying antifreeze offer promising directions for advancing techniques, with potential applications medical, agricultural, conservation fields. Future research should further elucidate develop more effective reliable methods.
