Geographies of more-than-human relations have flourished in the past decade, offering innovative methodological and conceptual approaches to studying how humans are entangled with an array animate inanimate actors. This Thinking Space essay explores underpins many pressing contemporary concerns around mobility immobility. Using examples recent news public debates involving avian migrations biosecurity, I unpack mobilities that shed light on questions borders security, notions belonging coexistence, ways future scholarship might use as a central understanding for doing just research.

This article examines how older Korean and Chinese migrants living in Perth, Australia, engage various beauty, grooming fitness practices to negotiate "successful ageing" transnational contexts. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with 30 men women aged between 60 89, we examine what social meanings are attached these practices, the context of Australia has influenced participants' perceptions ageing presentation self later life.
