Abstract Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping medical research, education, and clinical practice. This brief communication reviews new AI applications—from personalized learning immersive simulations in education to AI-assisted diagnostics settings—and examines the accompanying ethical practical challenges. Drawing on insights from last November’s editorial Bratislava Medical Journal, paper argues that while offers powerful tools, human oversight remains essential. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being adopted across many domains such as transport, healthcare, defence and sport, with football codes no exception. Though there a range of potential benefits AI, concern has also been expressed regarding risks. An important first step in ensuring that AI applications are usable, beneficial, safe ethical to understand the current applications, models their proposed functions. Society faces a growing set of risks from advanced emerging technologies. While there has been discussion on some these risks, comprehensive overview does not exist, and it is clear what methods are suited to identify future risks.
