Amidst the digital transformation of education, essence human touch in online teaching remains pivotal. Despite growing literature, there a significant gap understanding how element directly influences student engagement and learning outcomes, especially diverse educational contexts. This study develops quantifiable index capturing humanized investigates determinants influencing this humanization. Additionally, an encapsulating students’ experiences, as perceived by their instructors, has been constructed. Bridging these indices, research unravels intricate relationship between humanization resulting experiences virtual realm. Sourced from self-constructed questionnaire encompassing responses 152 instructors across 22 Malaysian institutions, data revealed average incorporation 81.38% elements. Key determinants, such subject matter, experience, Internet quality, platform choices, emerged influences. A regression model showed approximately 31.7% (R-squared = 0.317, p<0.001) variation dependent variable. moderate positive correlation (r 0.423, Humanized Online Teaching Index Students’ Learning Experiences highlights intertwined nature instructional methodologies enhanced settings. Though contextualised during coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic, study’s implications transcend immediate circumstances, offering transformative insights for future enhancing evolving age.
