In the current study, an engineering design-based STEM activity was designed and implemented for 5th graders. The is expected to provide guidance perspective teachers (practitioners) in designing implementing based on learning, activity, design process (EDP). At same time, during implementation of students experienced a EDP. fall semester 2022-2023 academic year, this planned Friction force water resistance 5th-grade middle school science course. Then, class 21 students. three hours. This titled “Let’s Design Water Slide Boat,” aimed at slide boat that would be least affected by friction improve students’ skills. Physically active learning is considered to enhance and additionally addresses health goals like increasing activity levels reducing obesity. However, physically has rarely been applied science engineering learning, or utilized with younger learners (e.g under sevens). This article describes a approach introducing one area of engineering, trialed children from age 3 upwards. Specifically, the game bacteria-tag was designed start discussions around bacteria diseases medicine selection, which can be extended in various ways, e.g. introduce ideas antimicrobial resistance, structure etc. Additionally, helps highlight role bioengineers society, helping broaden perceptions especially useful at young where misconceptions lead lack interest career rejection. Bacteria-tag successfully range schools nurseries (PreK 5th grade), proving effective engaging inspiring learning.
