Introduction The aim of this present work is to systematically compile, map, and review the scientific literature concerning education on affective-sexual gender diversity, produced within Spanish geographical context over past decade (2013–2023). To end, systematic offers an unprecedented updated synthesis most prominent challenges areas for improvement in Spain, purpose identifying existing research gaps, as well curricular training needs transdisciplinary field. Methods achieve objective, PRISMA guidelines are applied extraction selection indexed materials from two principal internationally renowned databases, namely Web Science Core Collection Scopus. analysis was facilitated through use bibliographic management software, quantitative qualitative data tools. Results findings obtained address question pertaining factors influencing construction attitudes representations type diversity formal educational settings. Furthermore, benefits, limitations, obstacles surrounding its integration examined. Various socio-demographic variables both students educators, such age, gender, religious beliefs, teaching experience, personal social experiences, school-driven initiatives, persistence hegemonic emerge explanatory linked these representations.
