Success in EFL/ESL contexts by teachers requires developing some essential characteristics consisting of several interacting variables and underlying constructs. With the rise positive psychology, concepts resilience emotion regulation their roles milieu have caught attention. In this line, present study aims to investigate whether there would be any relationship among EFL teachers' resilience, regulation, success Chinese context. addition, we tried examine predictive power toward success. To that end, an online Likert scale questionnaire including items on teaching was distributed 323 teachers. The participants were selected based convenience sampling. Spearman Rho correlation index multiple regression analysis along with ANOVA used analyze collected data. findings showed a direct Furthermore, it indicated more powerful terms predicting than regulation. Our imply teacher education programs can enhance through training strategies skills.

The notion of foreign language teaching enjoyment (FLTE) has recently been introduced to the field education as a positive emotion which influences teachers' professional and psychological growth. Due pure novelty concept, scant research attention paid its antecedents in English (EFL) contexts. present study aims investigate extent wellbeing regulation can contribute FLTE Iranian EFL teachers. participants (N = 575) responded three electronic questionnaires collected data were then analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM). SEM analysis indicated that significantly influenced their FLTE. findings revealed was stronger predictor context. discussed regarding causes increasing enjoyment. results highlighted importance applying psychology research. Finally, implications suggestions for future are offered.

Teacher resilience has been an increasingly hot topic in the booming perspective of positive psychology. It often conceptualized as capacity to bounce back from teaching adversities that form process dynamic and complex interaction interconnection between teachers context which they operate. However, scant attention paid unveiling fluctuation developmental mechanism early career English teacher resilience, especially ecological perspective. A self-narrative study could serve a bridge understand teachers’ for navigate multiple challenges, discover reconstruct themselves ensure recovery development their daily with environment. Against this backdrop, present adopted method explore influencing factors resilience. Results concerning displayed approximate V-shaped trajectory evincing Fighting–Lying flat–Seeking balance–Fighting–Fighting transition during stages educational career. Additionally, was affected by various personal (i.e., previous experience, belief, motivation well-being) contextual students, family colleagues) over past five years. In light these findings, implications are proposed fostering deal setbacks promoting sustainable professional development.
