Abstract The pervasive use of digital devices has profoundly impacted social relationships and interpersonal interactions. present study explored the associations between fear missing out (FoMO), smartphone addiction (SPA), phubbing with cooperation life satisfaction. FoMO, SPA, phubbing, cooperation, satisfaction were examined within self-determination theory framework among university students in Türkiye. was conducted 640 Türkiye, which is relevant given importance that collectivist cultures place on connectedness face-to-face Using structural equation modeling, found strong positive phubbing. specifically hypothesized FoMO correlated increased via associated disrupted results also showed negatively satisfaction, indicating a weaker link these two factors. Moreover, strongly highlighting for individual findings suggest promoting activities interactions may help mitigate their potential adverse outcomes.
