Aluminium (Al) is the eighth most prevalent metallic contaminant in global aquatic environments. This study explores toxicity of Al and acidity generated environment, using Dugesia tigrina, elucidating its environmental repercussions. The research uniquely highlights reproductive, behaviours enzymatic effects pertinent to toxicity. paper evaluated median lethal concentration [LC50 (96 h)], planarian mobility (pLmV), reproductive effects, glycogen content, enzymes activities. LC50 h) was 348.08 µM. aqueous extract produced a 74.6% reduction after acute exposition, 34.3% decrease content 14 days at 100 µM Al. Fertility fecundity decreased by 47.8% 67.8%, respectively, 30 50 (pH 7.0), with complete absence cocoons pH 5.9. Hatching time increased 24.8% 7.0). Exposure for 24 h increase enzyme activities: catalase (49%), superoxide dismutase (89.7%), acetylcholinesterase (46%). observed changes activity underscore Al's adverse on reproduction, behaviour, metabolism planarians, urging implementation effective management strategies mitigate potential implications various species ecosystems.
