Inductive deductive thematic analysis conducted on qualitative from staff feedback. Findings A total 26 registered account 39 completed app visits. On 37 the (94.9%) occasions, reported reductions intensity unwanted negative emotions. Statistically significant average pooled scores observed. Of 15 who pre- post-routine outcome measures, between 20% 60% showed meaningful symptom improvements. Students that helpful easy set up use, no adverse events. Practitioners highlighted barriers facilitators related technology features, situational contexts individual differences. Originality/value Integrating Orpheus real-world settings resulted promising implementation processes, potential future uptake positive outcomes. However, ongoing research, training testing are needed further improve processes digital interventions.

These initial studies limited; however, primarily considering loneliness using qualitative approaches treating it as unidimensional phenomenon. Our study addresses these limitations, quantitative approach to investigate impact (as multidimensional phenomenon) on institutional support wellbeing. We conduct regression analyses PGRs, focusing components stress predictors. Analysis demonstrates social separately predict lower Further analysis reveals PGRs who experience both have additional declines Results also suggest typical used universities ineffective within community. Findings improve understanding nature loneliness, providing platform for further work
