For 6 months, respondents had lessons two times a week. One lesson lasted 2 hours and included development playing skills improvisation techniques. results confirmed validity proposed learning strategy. Taylor anxiety scale decreased by 19 points. These showed decrease more than half its original value. This study developed a community-based art program that uses synesthesia of color and music to enrich the sensory experience older adults promote creative aging. The color-sensor device (called FEEL2) translates sound proposed 4-week program. A total 61 participants aged between 50 90 years were recruited participate in employed questionnaire survey post interviews evaluate participant satisfaction with program’s effect on their quality life. results indicate (1) highly satisfied due rich experiences connection interaction other (2) positively influenced participants’ life four aspects, namely enriching daily life, developing positive attitudes toward improving self-worth, promoting social interaction. can engage activities improve FEEL2 outcomes cross-disciplinary collaboration, which should encourage professionals collaborate variety programs for adults.

The rapid aging of the global population underscores need to employ innovative strategies, such as creative aging, address accompanying opportunities and challenges. This study investigated effects a thematic art program on cognitive abilities depressive symptoms in older adults. An 8-week was developed. Participants attended weekly 2-hour sessions that focuses connections with life experiences link between music color. recruited 40 adults aged 60 90 years. Among adults, 31 completed entire program. were from community care centers Northern Taiwan. Montreal Cognitive Assessment, Stroop Color Word Test, Geriatric Depression Scale used assess symptoms. Participatory observations follow-up interviews conducted cross-check results. Significantly improved (in overall function, visuospatial/executive, orientation domains), executive selective attention observed. Additionally, participants reported significantly reduced intervention maintained physical mental health participants. empirical results provide practical reference for developing programs
