Deprem sonrasında hayatta kalan bireyler birçok zorluk yaşamaktadır. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın amacı, 2023'te Kahramanmaraş merkezli depremlerden sağ kurtulan bireylerin deprem ve depremzedelere yönelik algılarını sonrası deneyimlerini incelemektir. Araştırma, depreme Malatya'da yakalanan 203 depremzedeyi (kadın= 143, erkek= 60) kapsamaktadır. Rastgele seçilen 53 katılımcı 35, 18) ile derinlemesine mülakatlar yapılmıştır. Araştırma olgu bilim deseni yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılar depremi "kıyamet" (f= 25) "bebek" 12) metaforlarıyla tanımlamıştır. Çoğu doğa olayı olarak görürken, bazıları dini açıdan Allah'ın gazabı veya uyarı değerlendirmiştir. Binaların yıkılmasından belediyeler müteahhitler sorumlu tutulmuştur. This study aimed to determine the relationship between posttraumatic stress disorder, death anxiety, and insomnia in adults after earthquake. study, designed a relational-cross-sectional-descriptive model, was conducted with 624 adult individuals living province affected by earthquake that occurred Turkey on February 6, 2023. The data were collected using personal information form, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist, Turkish Death Anxiety Scale, Bergen Insomnia Scale. analysis of performed SPSS 25.0, AMOS 24.0, G*Power 3.1 Statistical package software. A significant positive correlation found disorder ( p < .05). There It determined has mediating role impact (95% Confidence Interval: 0.572/1.407) model created line hypotheses compatible fit indices within desired limits, x 2 /df = 1.795, RMSEA 0.03, CFI 0.95, GFI 0.946, AGFI 0.93, IFI 0.95. increased anxiety Conducting longitudinal studies post-earthquake period is recommended.

COVID-19 pandemic has changed the daily life habits of individuals as well affecting their physical health. Efforts to acquire information about outbreak and combat uncertainty have led an increase in individuals' consumption negative news. Technology social media platforms facilitated access this information, resulting emergence a new term called "doomscrolling". Doomscrolling is defined act spending excessive time online navigating through unpleasant news, despite it being saddening or demoralising. Among underlying reasons for behavior, desire cope with quest positive stand out. Additionally, personality traits mental health status emerge significant factors influencing behavior. Strategies reduce prevent doomscrolling involve controlling technology usage, finding content balance engaging offline activities that positively impact well-being. Given ongoing wars, economic crises, natural disasters, similar situations, may lead posing risk effects. Therefore, efforts aimed at promoting conscious usage could be critical step preventing doomscrolling.

It is important to reveal the long-term psychological effects of earthquake in earthquake-exposed individuals. The aim this study was determine levels depression, hopelessness and death anxiety students who experienced one year after examine depression on anxiety. This a descriptive correlational study. Data were collected from 155 Emergency Relief Disaster Management Kahramanmaras Türkiye 2023. using Personal Information Form, Beck Depression Scale, Hopelessness Thorson-Powell Death Anxiety Scale.
