The pedagogy, andragogy, and heutagogy (PAH) continuum have been widely endorsed within higher education online learning over the years. Thus, evaluation of research productivity has become relevant due to emerging development PAH as a theoretical framework. This paper aims explore by performing bibliometric performance analysis. An iterative search strategy was performed identify authors then investigate their 5-year period (2017–2022) using SciVal analytics instrument Elsevier. Drawing upon results from multiple analyses, study explores publication specifically in relation continuum. revealed that distance education, learning, teaching, professional development, lifelong most prominent areas Within that, related topics were identified, including mobile e-learning, educational technology.

Abstract Learning design has become increasingly important in the context of expanding and dynamic digital learning environments. More traditional teaching approaches are no longer sufficient to engage learners these changing Teachers aspiring designers therefore need expertise, which takes time develop. This paper responds this challenge by outlining a fishbone method, is aligned with updated versions Bloom’s taxonomy for world, as scaffolded approach developing basic expertise. The study integrates three practical tools into one method ensure constructive alignment. findings contribute educational development teacher professional proposing easy adapt method.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore a gendered perspective on how learners' intrinsic psychological motivators: valence, technology-innovativeness, self-development and self-efficacy as well extrinsic social institutional motivators, such norms management commitment, collectively influence behavioral intention adopt asynchronous EdTech tools MOOCs. Design/methodology/approach A theoretical model was developed by integrating insights from cognitive theory (SCT) the technology acceptance (TAM). Data were collected 622 Indian college students across different academic levels who had enrolled in at least one MOOC. analysis performed using covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM). bootstrapping method IBM AMOS 23.0 software adopted further for moderation analysis. Findings found that while drivers positively associated with intention, limited influence. results showed gender significantly influenced relationship between perceived usefulness valence usefulness. Our study’s findings represent significant contribution advancements, indicating notable shift students' learning emphasis interactions self-directed approaches. These align closely principles connectivism within heutagogy framework, underscoring responsibility shaping their journey. Practical implications hold practical future applications. Based our positive impact self-efficacy, it crucial offer structured interactive options guided experiences. Integrating digital skills training into MOOC curricula can enhance engagement diverse learner levels, given predictive power innovativeness. Furthermore, emphasizing benefits certifications, career advancement or recognition, increase appeal value, considering significance “valence” an influential factor. Originality/value Asynchronous tools, notably MOOCs, have emerged potent catalysts change, providing unparalleled accessibility, flexibility avenues lifelong learning. pioneers investigation innovativeness perceptions, influencing willingness MOOCs positively. By exploring nuanced sociological dynamics societies, research underscores necessity customizing solutions encompass perspectives.
