To evaluate the medication-related burden (MRB) of patients with late-life depression (LLD) and its influencing factors in China using Living Medicines Questionnaire-3 (LMQ-3), providing reference for reducing MRB those patients. A cross-sectional study was conducted between September 2023 January 2024 on 588 LLD. LMQ-3 questionnaire were used data collection. The distribution variables assessed descriptive analysis, while analyses Mann-Whitney Kruskal-Wallis performed to inter-group differences. explore among LLD factors, multiple linear regression analysis performed. median (IQR) score participants 102 (18), indicating a moderate level. Regression revealed significant trend toward higher perceived aged 70–79 years old, living rural areas, receiving more medical insurance settlements, all cash, taking than 5 drugs each time, medicine 3 times day (p < 0.05), which risk MRB. Conversely, who lived their children, had an annual household income (including adult children) 50,000 Chinese Yuan, no adverse drug reactions lower scores protective factors. Introduction Tuberculosis (TB) morbidity and mortality are significantly increasing in the elderly worldwide. Their optimal health outcomes hampered by medication related burden (MRB) poor treatment adherence. Understanding th e MRB status from patients’ perspectives its association with adherence among TB patients will help achieve End targets.
