Abstract The management of safety and health hazards associated with construction demolition waste in Zimbabwe is a critical issue that requires comprehensive attention. Purpose: This review paper provides an in-depth analysis the current state sector Zimbabwe. Methods: Literature was searched from various databases for example African Journals Online, PubMed, Science Direct, Springer, Sage Publications, Google Scholar Scopus. Key words such as waste, management, hazards, risk assessment were used to retrieve data different databases. Results: finds physical, chemical, biological ergonomic hazards. posits there are existing regulatory frameworks enforcement mechanisms related Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27] Urban Councils 29:15]. Risk use personal protective equipment highlighted strategies manage Proper handling, storage, transportation disposal reduce its impacts people environment. Challenges affecting managing include economic constraints, lack awareness education well limited recycling treatment facilities.
