Municipal
climate
policies
tie

study
examines

negotiated

six
largest
cities
Finland.

qualitative
content
analysis

action
plans
(CAP),
we
show
that
primacy

questioned,
however,
importance
increasingly
underlined.
We
demonstrate
framed
by
three
main
discourses:

protecting
green,

built-up
structure
adaptation
purposes,
3)
multifunctional
compacting.

Recent
discussions
within
urban
planning

Urban
green
infrastructure
(GI)
is

However,
there
little
research
on
how
to
quantitatively
and
systematically
assess
the
construction
level
of
(CLGI),
especially
its
relationship
urban
function
development.

provides
empirical
evidence
by
a
case
study
built-up
areas

cities
in
Yangtze
River
Economic
Zone
(YREZ)
investigate
characteristics
affect
CLGI.

CLGI
varies
significantly
between
cities.

Integrated
urban
infrastructures
provide
