This study aimed to determine the optimal concentration of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and its effect on Hematological parameters three-spotted tilapia (Oreochromis andersonii) broodstock. Using a Completely Randomized Design, 150 broodstock (weight: 180 ± 10 g) were immersed in nine NaHCO3 concentrations (0–50 g/L) triplicate. Induction recovery times recorded, Red Blood Cells (RBC), White (WBC), Packed Cell Volume (PCV), Hemoglobin (Hb) measured. Mean Corpuscular (MCV), (MCH), Concentration (MCHC) calculated. time decreased increased with higher concentrations, without any mortality. A g/L only significantly affected RBC PCV. At 45 50 there significant changes MCH, while increase was observed at 15 Hb WBC, respectively. The established for routine handling hatcheries 30 35 g/L.
