While previous studies have shown that use eHealth information influences beliefs in general population, deeper exploration underlying mechanisms imperative. Using Social Cognitive Theory as theoretical framework targeting cancer, this study aimed investigate whether can effectively alleviate elucidate driving association. Methods: Data for were obtained from sixth iteration National Trends Health Information Survey (HINTS6), using survey sample 3,131 individuals Firstly, assesses direct indirect effects on beliefs; Secondly, exploring mediating roles worry, frequency doctor visits, trust doctors; Finally, examining chained mediation model explain how may change their inherent about through use. Results: The results showed effect (bp =-0.062, p<0.001) total (bp=-0.059, negatively correlated fatalism. Cancer trustin doctors positively In addition, revealedthat was =-0.071, p < 0.001). Conclusions: eHealth combinedwith interventions offline communication physicians plays positive role reducing history, providing more health support. In digital age, e-health usage (EHU) might be key factor trials. However, how consideration for trial participation is impacted by EHU remains unclear. Method Secondary analyses were conducted on data from Health Information National Trends Survey 2020 (HINTS 5, Cycle 4). This study proposed tested serial mediation model linking participation, mediated patient-centered communication (PCC) cancer-related self-efficacy (CS). Analysis was performed using sample survey targeted at individuals with chronic disease and/or family cancer history, United States ( N = 3292). Result found that exerted positive effects directly. Furthermore, their relationship can PCC CS. Only when serves as first mediator did CS exert meditation effect. Annual household income significantly moderates path participation. For low-income groups, increase expends Conclusion improve considered motivators increasing Based finding, information related should promoted channels gain better patients’ understanding. Results found negatively impacted ( b p = −.007, CI: [−.013, −.002]). Specifically, positively related .201, [.149, .252]), which eased members’ −.271, [−.420, −.122]) eventually reduced .120, [.063, .177]).
