Artificial intelligence generates vibrant characters, encompassing teachers, peer students, and advisors within diverse educational media. However, the impact of perceived embodiment such characters in language learning videos on students' technology acceptance adoption is unclear. Integrating structural equation modeling into thematic analysis, this study analyzes 1042 valid responses from higher education students to bridge research gap. Our reveals that four subdimensions (human-likeness, credibility, facilitation, engagement) significantly positively predict higher-education ease use usefulness artificial intelligence-generated virtual teachers videos. Notably, an exception arises, as human-likeness does not our context. Students' systemic interactivity process emerge pivotal mediators. The qualitative analysis identifies concerns about classroom administration, developmental support, technical issues, deprived interpersonal collaboration, liberal attainment cultivation with teacher presence. ChatGPT, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) tool with the potential to transform education, has gained global recognition. Learners' attitudes toward new technologies significantly influence their use of AI tools, such as ChatGPT. However, variable-centered studies struggle fully capture heterogeneity attitudes. This study employed person-centered approach (latent profile analysis) and thematic analysis uncover students' behavioral intentions regarding Utilizing meticulous stratified random sampling approach, this conducted mixed-method based on representative data from 850 Chinese university students, revealing three profiles: Positive Embracers, Cautious Rational Optimism, Complex Attitudinal Profile. Of participants, 80.2% showed Optimism profile, where Embracers notably higher ChatGPT intentions. Abstract Mobile learning (M‐learning), ChatGPT and social media are integral to university education, improving accessibility, personalization interactive engagement in the process. This paper aimed investigate role of M‐learning, students' academic performance. It was a cross‐sectional quantitative investigation, data were collected from 600 students through self‐developed questionnaire having four subscales (M‐learning, ChatGPT, performance). Abstract Researchers have significantly explored language learners' attitudes toward ChatGPT through the lens of technology acceptance models, particularly with its development and integration into computer-assisted learning (CALL). However, further research in this area is necessary to apply a theoretical framework pedagogical-oriented perspective. Therefore, study, researchers utilized students' approaches environment (SAL) extended it by incorporating multilevel perspective that encompasses contextual, individual, ChatGPT-related factors. Little is known about the dark side of ChatGPT adoption in higher education context; current study, therefore, adopts stressor-strain-outcome model to examine how compulsive use and its consequences, such as loneliness social avoidance (stressors), lead increased level psychological distress (strain), which, turn, negatively has detrimental impacts on student life satisfaction academic performance (outcomes). Moreover, recent study also aims test moderating role technostress strain-outcome relationship. Drawing sample 2709 students collected across 16 universities Vietnam using a stratified random sampling approach, results reveal positive correlation between ChatGPT, loneliness, avoidance, distress.
