Although the e-commerce market is expanding rapidly, platforms still capture only a small portion of overall market, largely due to limited habitual use these platforms. This study examines features that affect purchase intention when using an channel. The Unified Theory Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) serves as theoretical aspect analysis. A survey was conducted, data were examined structural equation modeling. findings show both performance expectancy social influence have strong positive impact on users’ new platforms, whereas perceived risk negatively influences intention. Perceived trust mediates relationship between intention, Furthermore, product quality perception moderates connection intentions.

Purpose This study addresses the remarkable research gap in existing literature on Chat Generative Pre-training Transformer (ChatGPT), which has primarily explored its functional benefits rather than psychological states of users. By integrating self-concept theory and attitudes, this develops a moderated-mediating model to examine impact bandwagon effect users’ habit formation subsequent feelings pride associated with ChatGPT application. Design/methodology/approach analyzed self-reported survey data from 568 respondents mainland China using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Findings The findings reveal that indirectly influences through habits related applications. also identifies boundary condition social-adjustive attitude, strengthens both direct relationship between indirect pride. Originality/value contributes field by offering novel perspective adoption, highlighting role attitudinal functions driving intentions utilize technology, focus desire for as motivating factor.

In recent years, AI virtual streamers (i.e., digital characters with human-like appearances) have become a pervasive e-commerce phenomenon but remain almost unexplored in the literature on marketing. The possible reasons for this deficiency are vagueness of streamer concept and lack measurement tool. Therefore, study aimed to conceptualize develop an characteristic scale through five stages based social response theory. Following item generation, refinement, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factory analysis nomological validity, third-dimensional (persona, anthropomorphism, interactivity) 10 items was established. Empirical results reveal sound qualities terms reliability demonstrate its unique position respect established marketing concepts. developed has managerial implications designing applying humans or avatars, such as employees, spokespersons, idols, guided tours. This tool also enables future research live streaming, destination education concerts.

This study investigates the usage of stickers, a type graphicon, by adults on WhatsApp from perspective extended self. Self-administered online survey was collect data users aged 18–35 years living in India, and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) applied analyze data. Drawing theories impression management (IM) self, results indicate that sticker may lead formation an this relationship be mediated self-promotion ingratiation. Design/methodology/approach Based on IT theory motivation theory, discusses effects regarded work intention as a mediating variable. Meanwhile, we considered organization inducement condition discussed moderating it two sub-dimensions (development rewards material rewards). Data were collected from 326 employees partial least squares structural equation modeling was used analyzed draw conclusions. Findings showed that significantly affects behavior, which play role. Moreover, three subdimensions (relatedness, emotional energy, dependence) have different formation identity. And acts positive role, development roles inducements. Originality/value Our explores paths influence their moderation, while analyzing results these influences subdimensions, deepening inducement. conducive organizational provide suggestions for managers improve management level.
