New tools and applications that can be used to develop the sustainability of tourism activities have emerged with developments in technology. In this context, augmented reality (AR), one these cutting-edge technologies, has been studied sustainable recent years, studies carried out relevant fields contribute literature on subject. study aims reveal current status trends published AR technology through a bibliometric systematic review. For purpose, 61 publications subject were identified Web Science (WoS) database, content analyses performed using VOSviewer 1.6.20 software. As result analyses, data, such as number citations by year, most cited authors, countries, publications, their collaboration relationships, development goals, WoS categories, information regarding themes aims, obtained. Accordingly, it was determined 2014 continued into new research area. The potential gaps suggested based findings will guide future sectors.
