The transformative integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational settings, exemplified by ChatGPT, presents a myriad ethical considerations that extend beyond conventional risk assessments. This study employs pioneering framework encapsulating risk, reward, and resilience (RRR) dynamics to explore the landscape ChatGPT utilization in education. Drawing on an extensive literature review robust conceptual framework, research identifies categorizes concerns associated with offering decision-makers structured approach navigate this intricate terrain. Through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), prioritizes themes based global weights. findings underscore paramount importance elements such as solidifying values, higher-level reasoning skills, transforming educative systems. Privacy confidentiality emerge critical concerns, along safety security concerns. work also highlights reward elements, including increasing productivity, personalized learning, streamlining workflows. not only addresses immediate practical implications but establishes theoretical foundation for future AI ethics

Purpose This study used extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) model to examine the effect personal expectancy (PE), efforts (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), hedonic motivation (HM), price value (PV) habit (H) on behavioural intention (BI) use Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) in higher education for an Indian context. The also examined moderating effects students’ self-innovativeness (SIN) integrity (INT) relationship between BI behaviour (UB) ChatGPT. Design/methodology/approach A sample 311 students has been selected from Northern states India by applying stratified proportionate random sampling method four disciplines – engineering, business administration, science fine arts were as different strata selection process. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach data analysis assess proposed theoretical model. Findings found PE, FC, PV H significantly account actual ChatGPT, whereas EE, SI HM showed a negligible impact BI. was non-significant predicting usage moderation SIN INT UB. Research limitations/implications limited size its focus constrain generalizability findings other parts world. Originality/value helps understand nuances associated with advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tool such ChatGPT application best-practices. Therefore, this aims bridge gap examining determinants version UTAUT context using additional constructs INT.

The rise in generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is transforming education, with tools like ChatGPT enhancing learning, content creation, and academic support. This study analyzes ChatGPT’s acceptance among Costa Rican university students using the UTAUT2 model partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). research examines key predictors of AI adoption, including performance expectancy, effort social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, actual usage. findings from 194 indicate that expectancy (β = 0.596, p < 0.001) strongest predictor followed by 0.241, 0.005), while influence 0.381, conditions 0.217, 0.008) play a smaller role. Behavioral intention significantly influences usage 0.643, 0.001). Gender age differences emerge, male those aged 21–30 years showing higher levels. Despite positive attitudes toward ChatGPT, report insufficient training for effective use, underscoring need literacy programs structured pedagogical strategies. calls further on their long-term impact to foster responsible GenAI adoption education.

The rise of Generative AI chatbots like ChatGPT has sparked debate about their role in higher education. This cross-sectional survey examined students' perceived knowledge, willingness, skills, technological support, and usage ChatGPT. Using the KWSTU questionnaire, data from 1,218 university students Sindh, Pakistan, revealed high knowledge willingness but moderate skill levels. was reported to have been used for different purposes including reading, writing, classroom participation. Technological support remained at lowest end suggesting that universities were not providing enough creating awareness necessary orientation use Further analysis showed positively predict usage, with being strongest predictor. Public a greater inclination ChatGPT, while gender had no impact. These findings suggest implications policy, practice, research education as continues advance rapidly.

ChatGPT, an AI chatbot created by OpenAI in November 2022, has caught the attention of scholars due to its potential higher education. Despite benefits personalized learning, academic assistance, and task automation, concerns remain regarding impact on students' logical reasoning integrity. Drawing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this study explored predictors behavioral intention use ChatGPT (BIU) for purposes among university students Mogadishu, Somalia. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, we gathered data via online survey 299 from four universities Structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 4 was used analyze proposed relationships. The results uncovered that perceived usefulness, ease use, social influence, hedonic motivation, credibility have positively significantly impacted ChatGPT. Surprisingly, findings depicted information accuracy negatively moderates association between study's result implies explicit guidelines should be established Somali education facilitate proper utilization ensuring it improves learning while mitigating issues over
