Abstract: Given the significant negative consequences of problematic video gaming among adolescents, it is crucial to identify risk and protective factors inform effective prevention intervention strategies. The aim current study was examine associations between adaptive maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies both prolonged early-to-mid adolescents in Germany. A total 626 Grades 5 – 10 completed Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, as well providing details on their time symptoms gaming.
