Based on attachment theory, this research explores Secure Base Leadership’s (SBL) efficacy in mitigating the negative impact of emotional demands employee exhaustion, with an aim to reduce burnout rates and improve workplace well-being. A survey sample 428 Spanish employees from various sectors was collected, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) used test model. Emotional were found significantly increase whereas SBL reduced moderated these effects, proving its protective function. The aviation industry is acknowledged for its high-risk, high-pressure nature, where pilots' job burnout has adverse effects on well-being and performance. Understanding solutions to pilot crucial addressing the aforementioned challenges. Cognitive reappraisal, a double-edged sword, yet be proven effective in application this specific population, there lack of research explaining why cognitive reappraisal can reduce burnout. This empirical study, collecting data from 106 pilots, reveals reappraisal's efficacy reducing by lowering perceived stress (R2 = 0.497). reduction modulated psychological resilience, indicating higher resilience enhances effectiveness. Although emotional exhaustion is generally regarded as a threat to individual and team functioning, research on the effects of scant inconsistent. ABSTRACT The COVID‐19 pandemic precipitated an extensive involuntary shift to remote work and has since dramatically reshaped its supervision.
