Loneliness among older adults is a well-known public health issue that became significantly apparent in the post-Covid-19 era. Our qualitative study examined and compared perspectives of thirty-one toward factors intensified or reduced loneliness. Five themes emerged from analysis: emotional vs. social loneliness; impact conditions on effect socioeconomic status role family links; networks . Findings show effectively reducing loneliness requires better understanding how differ based sociodemographic elements dominant cultural values.

Disability and social support can impact depressive symptoms of the elderly. Yet, studies infrequently discuss moderating role when evaluating association between disability symptoms. The purpose this study was to explore disability, support, among Chinese elderly, further examine effect support.Using 2018 Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) data set, we finally selected 9,231 elderly after screening.
