<abstract> <p>The article presents the results from a virtual ethnographic study, focused on return intentions of 11 mobile Bulgarian citizens living in several countries European Union and beyond, employed highly qualified jobs. In-depth interviews were conducted online months April-May 2020, at time first lockdowns restrictions international travel both to/from Bulgaria to multiple around world. The restrictions to international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic have posed significant barriers transnational family life. This paper focusses on negotiation of familial obligations over 300 young EU nationals aged 14–25 living in Britain. We examine how care practices were reconfigured within families, as forced immobility, absence and loss became part Young people's agency was activated engage desirable circulations care, while they also engaged acts citizenship locally that had a dimension. In recent years, everyday life and interpersonal relationships in a broad sense have been shaped by the SarsCov-2 pandemic its extensive consequences – both on local global level. Other phenomena made their presence felt at level too Brexit, for example. this article, based research carried out Poland, England Northern Ireland August September 2021, we present various dimensions of migrants with people who are important to them Poland context these two main processes. The results our indicate that new circumstances affect lives relatives levels, such as routine activities, work, relations, transnational contacts. The legal regulations regarding the right of possession foreign-national real persons are important factors affecting rate foreign migrations.
