Purpose Digital technology (DT) is a massive and robust tool for organizational success. This paper aims to examine the roles of digitalization digital innovation (DI) in developing capability economy. Design/methodology/approach The authors used cross-sectional study collect data from managers Egyptian SME manufacturing firms. utilized 322 samples. Findings From applying structural equation model (SEM), this study’s findings show that (DC) orientation (DO) exert positive effect on firm’s economy (DEC). In addition, DC has impact DI. contrast, self-efficacy (DTSE) negatively predicts DEC. results also confirm DO’s negative DTSE enabler DI positively affected mediating demonstrate reinforces connection between DO On other hand, does not mediate DEC Practical implications outcomes support policymakers organizations employing DT improve and, thereby, develop firm performance encourage invest bringing about culture within them. Finally, by DI, firms can nurture conducive creativity forward-thinking. Originality/value directly overcomes need an integrated framework all DTSE, DO, Furthermore, DI’s contribution DEC, adds fresh insights existing literature.

Aim/purpose – This study aims to analyze the effect of offline and online social capital on performance business in SMEs, specifically, mediating digital innovation relationship between SMEs. Design/methodology/approach research is a quantitative population fashion SMEs fostered by SOEs West Java, Indonesia. The sampling technique was selected using purposive method with criteria SMEs: (1) have been for at least 3 years; (2) adopted media purposes; (3) are creative that focus fashion. sample this 258 Java Province located Cirebon Bandung. Furthermore, collected data were analyzed structural equation model SmartPLS.
