Groyne is very important to protect the coastline with concept of maintaining balance sediment transport. building in theory can work well if worked groups or more than one. In this study, Passo beach location was chosen because there an existing groyne that, seen on Google Earth, has been damaged by scattering constituent rocks. If cannot transport, it may occur that mass destruction infrastructure behind itself, such as regional roads, occur. To find out level damage, in-depth study needs be carried out. paper, Delft-3D mathematical modeling investigate damage looking at performance transport area. Hydrodynamic and coastal analyses were wet dry season conditions. Modeling over one month a morphology factor 12 obtain for year. conditions, shows observation point, erosion 2 meters, balanced. Abstract Bengkalis Island is located on the outer border of Indonesia and faces Malacca Strait. The northwest part island, which predominantly composed peat soil, was most severely affected by erosion. condition particularly frequent during periods high rainfall intensity due to climate change. This has caused landslide towards sea, triggered land instability use changes sediment transport in nearshore area. Understanding needed as a base design proper coastal protection. The prediction of tidal fields is crucial in coastal and marine hydrodynamic analyses, particularly complex environments, as it plays an essential role disaster warning fisheries management. However, monitoring the entire field impractical, harmonic analysis numerical simulation methods continue to face challenges accuracy efficiency for large-scale predictions. To address these issues, this paper proposes a method based on Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks. A physics-based model established, validated using observational data from multiple sites study area. quantified performance indicators such root mean square error (RMSE) correlation coefficients. then used generate high-quality comprehensive dataset. An LSTM-based developed predict semi-closed bay. compared with models Transformer, Random Forest, KNN regression methods. results demonstrate that surpasses other machine learning accuracy, notable advantage handling time series data. This introduces new ideas technical approaches rapid prediction, overcoming limitations traditional providing robust support prevention, resource management, environmental protection.

In this paper, we revisit the classical energy transport equation for pure tidal flows in estuaries by including effects of residual water level and freshwater discharge. Starting from one-dimensional mass momentum conservations, derive analytical expressions flux its dissipation, which can be used to explore interaction between tide river an perspective. It has been shown that potential is dominant over kinetic flux, contribution made tide-river negligible compared with due flow A critical position corresponding zero identified, reflecting a balance along-channel amplitude level. Assuming variation system tends zero, long-term equilibrium bed profile convex-up shape, where identify location second estuarine turbidity maximum (ETM) at determined river- tide-induced flux. Sediment scour numerical simulation plays a critical role in the design of water-resistant foundation engineering, and this paper addresses significant gap most related studies, which often overlook transformation sediment struggle to identify actual riverbed obscured by yielding bed suspended load. To tackle challenge, comprehensive model based on meshless Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method was developed. Firstly, enhance computational efficiency mitigate high cost Fluid-Solid Interaction (FSI) between water sediments, cohesionless grains were modelled as non-Newtonian fluids, with yield strength determined according combined criterion. Subsequently, identification particle velocity shear stress, seepage force driving motion at interface. The effectiveness validated through comparison three experiments. results show better agreement experimental data, root-mean-square error less than 2.17% morphology successful post-scouring surface each case. However, free still exhibits slight error, 8.35%.
