Purpose: Professional quality of life (QoL) is crucial for healthcare workers as it affects performance at work and interaction with patients, but little known about stressors influencing radiation oncology professionals. The present study aims to explore the professional QoL oncologists (ROs) therapists (RTTs) in an Italian radiotherapy department report data possible impact personality factors, such alexithymia empathy. Material methods: Participants filled out three validated questionnaires measuring QoL, alexithymia, empathy: (i) Quality Life Scale (ProQOL); (ii) Toronto Alexithymia (TAS-20); (iii) Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). Correlation, regression analyses non-parametric tests were run. Results: A total 48 professionals completed survey (66.7% ROs, 33.3% RTTs). Considering ProQOL dimensions, moderate levels risk burnout (BO) secondary traumatic stress (STS) found. Abstract There are more than 57,000 children with special educational needs (SEN) in Hong Kong. Social work professionals experience high levels of burnout, emotional exhaustion, and secondary traumatic stress (STS). This paper reports the findings a pilot test Burn-Not-Out programme that aimed to reduce social workers' STS, depressive symptoms enhance compassion satisfaction (CS), using mixed methods evaluation methodology. Hong Kong workers participated in between December 2023 March 2024 completed pre- post-programme self-administered online surveys including Professional Quality Life (ProQOL) Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), healthy alongside self-constructed questions on boundary setting, focus group discussions. This descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational study investigated the effect of burnout on nurses' professional commitment during COVID-19 pandemic. Nurses have been experiencing high levels since onset However, we know little about how affects their commitment. The was conducted between March 2021 April 2021. sample consisted 671 nurses.
