Background China recorded a massive COVID-19 pandemic wave after ending its Dynamic Zero-COVID Policy on January 8, 2023. As result, mental health professionals (MHPs) experienced negative consequences, including an increased level of fear related to COVID-19. This study aimed explore the prevalence and correlates among MHPs following end Policy, association with quality life (QoL) from network analysis perspective. Methods A cross-sectional national was conducted across China. The were examined using both univariate multivariate analyses. An covariance (ANCOVA) determine relationship between QoL. Many studies were conducted during and after the COVID-19 pandemic to examine its impact on young people’s well-being. However, most are quantitative ones focusing negative of people. In contrast, there few examining benefits using a qualitative methodology. Hence, we focus group interviews understand meaning-focused coping in 56 university students from late December 2022 mid-January 2023 when Hong Kong was approaching end pandemic. Thematic analysis deductive analytical approach based Revised Stress Coping Model applied data analysis. The results showed that able generate positive experiences emotions them reported improved mental well-being by infusing ordinary events with meaning. They engaged adaptive goal processes having more attitude towards life. Students also found terms enhanced personal strengths, better interpersonal relationships, pandemic-related abilities. Furthermore, current study compared difference use perceived family or financial difficulties, who coped well, Mainland Chinese studying Kong. This paper provides an alternative picture students.

Abstract Background A major shift in the “dynamic zero-COVID” policy was announced by China’s National Health Commission on December 7, 2022, and subsequent immediate large-scale outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 infections entire country has caused worldwide concern. This observational cross-sectional study aimed to describe epidemiological characteristics this Sichuan, China. Methods All data were self-reported online volunteers. We described epidemic characterizing infection, symptoms, clinical duration, severity, spatiotemporal clustering, dynamic features disease. Prevalence ratio (PR), Odds ratios (ORs) adjusted ORs calculated analyze associations between risk factors infection with severity using log-binomial multivariable logistic regression models; 95% confidence intervals (CIs) Wald test results reported. The prevalence rates among different subgroups compared Chi-square trend tests. Results Between January 6 12, 2023, 138,073 volunteers enrolled survey, 102,645 infected COVID-19, holding a rate 74.34%; proportion asymptomatic 1.58%. Log-binomial revealed that increased those living urban areas. Multivariable analysis showed female sex, chronic diseases, older age fewer doses vaccine received associated an severe outcomes after infection. estimated mean reproduction number during pandemic 1.83. highest time-dependent 4.15; decreased below 1 11 days from 2022. Temporal trends single peak curve plateau pattern incidence outbreak, whereas clustering onset 21 cities Sichuan province had four-wave peaks. The Omicron variant of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is less likely to cause disease in children than other variants but has become an increasing febrile seizures (FS) among children. Guides' positively significantly influenced (β= 0.3051), mediated (β=0.196, 95% CI 0.141, 0.255). In addition, moderated pathway from guided 0.1371; β=0.116).The diversion can alleviate guides; strengthening their own construction also helps effects on distress. findings provide theoretical support prevention counseling problems employees public health crises.

With the emergence of new virus variants, limited data are available on impact SARS-CoV-2 Omicron infection surgery outcomes in cancer patients who have been widely vaccinated. This study aimed to determine whether undergoing hepatectomy poses a higher risk postoperative complications for liver had mild before surgery. A propensity-matched cohort was conducted at tertiary center from 8 October 2022 13 January 2023. In total, 238 underwent were included, with 57 (23.9%) recovering preoperative and 190 (79.8%) receiving COVID-19 vaccination. Pre- post-matching, there no significant difference occurrence between recovered negative patients. Multivariate logistic regression showed that status not associated major pulmonary cardiac complications.
