The rise in research, policy and news on climate change-induced migration has grown exponentially over the last two decades. Migration related to global warming is increasingly portrayed as inevitable used mobilise people act immediately against change. By analysing discourse of Flemish media journals (De Standaard Het Laatste Nieuws) Belgian national agency (Belga), indexed by GoPress database (1985–2022), this paper aims present how change are linked each other media, differs across outlets, reflects potential outcomes framing. Results indicate that climate-induced often an apocalyptic way seen threat needs be avoided. terminology portrayals not line with scientific evidence topic.
