This paper explores possibilities for creating a code of conduct practitioners working in technology ethics. The number ethics is growing when including ethicists embedded research projects on technology, members committees who assess the consequences technological research, advising companies, and facilitators moral/societal exploration through workshops, games, brainstorm sessions. And, it not just assessment what do, but increasingly also guidance development processes like responsible innovation, by design, design values. Our exploratory initial, this may be seen as position paper. It focusses preliminary issues such identifying types can for, roles play these practitioners, charting controversies should address, (institutional) arrangements needed making effective.
