In Central and Eastern European countries, the labour shortage is becoming increasingly pronounced, posing a challenge for economy. Labour shortages limit potential national income as many positions remain unfilled, which could lead to slowdown in economic growth. To address this issue, various solutions need be explored. This research aims analyze alleviating shortages, with particular emphasis on measures that encourage workforce participation. One strategy introducing training retraining programs help workers develop skills adapt market demands. Another option promote part-time employment, may especially attractive groups unable or unwilling work full-time. Enhancing population mobility also crucial addressing particularly bridging regional disparities. Integrating certain inactive groups, such retirees, homemakers, students, people disabilities, those low education levels experiencing generational poverty, into yield significant benefits. Purpose The study investigates the serial mediation of green work engagement and individual collective psychological ownership in nexus between inclusive leadership creativity among hotel employees Ghana. Design/methodology/approach Four-hundred eighty-four (484) samples were selected using convenience sampling technique from 3–4 star rated hotels. data solicited with a self-reported questionnaire was analyzed SEM-PLS. The transition to a Circular Economy (CE) is fundamental response contemporary environmental and economic challenges. Sustainable human resource management (SHRM) pivotal in equipping the workforce with green skills, reskilling strategies, fostering organisational sustainability. This study undertakes comparative analysis of Portugal Sweden examine influence SHRM strategies on CE adoption. Utilising Eurostat data employing statistical analyses, assesses training, circular material use, employment growth both countries. findings reveal that exhibits considerably higher engagement training (32.26% vs. 10.87% Portugal), more prevalent use (7.73% 2.31%), consistent job (higher R2 regression models).
