Abstract
This
article
presents
a
comprehensive
and
detailed
survey
of
ecolinguistics,
defined
as
an
enterprise
oriented
to
how
language
plays
role
in
the
interactions
between
human
beings,
other
species,
natural
environment.
Since
early
1990s,
ecolinguistics
has
been
driven
by
concern
for
life
on
Earth
such
it
comprises
linguistic
study
current
ecological
crisis.
Through
close
reading
literature,
combination
with
bibliometric
tool
VOSviewer,
surveys
eleven
subfields
contemporary
ecolinguistics.
The
surveyed
are:
discourse-oriented
corpus-assisted
ecostylistics,
narratological
identity-oriented
ethno-lexical
discourse
analysis,
harmonious
cognitive
educational
decolonial/transdisciplinary
In
conclusion,
discusses
two
challenges
that
face
ecolinguistics:
repetition
certain
tropes
narratives
about
field,
even
absence
empirical
evidence,
lack
internal
debate
critique.

Deforestation,
advancements
in
healthcare
technology
and
the
diminished
concern
of
younger
generations
preserving
ecological
wisdom,
particularly
ethnomedical
practices,
raise
concerns
about
potential
extinction
such
practices
within
Sarolangun
Malay
community
(henceforth
abbreviated
as
SM).
Against
this
backdrop,
ecolinguistic
article
explores
documents
medicinal
plant
terminologies
their
representation
incantations
employed
by
traditional
healers
practices.
Data
were
derived
from
ethnographic
interviews
employing
rapport
techniques
with
shamans.
The
study
reveals
that
out
63
plants
used,
they
fall
into
seven
terminological
categories:
color,
shape,
location,
taste,
aroma,
function
gender.
Meanwhile,
used
healing
processes
are
categorized
two:
general
specific.
These
encapsulate
biological
(flora
fauna),
cultural
(religion
agriculture)
social
dimensions
(relations
fellow
humans
nature).
This
concludes
SM
perceives
ailments
an
interplay
multiple
inseparable
elements:
nature,
supernatural
forces
religion.

attitudes

(including

capitalists
local
communities)
toward
crucial

Purpose
The
research
purpose
had
been
to
investigate
the
dominant
factors
that
influenced
success
of
development
entrepreneurship
courses
in
cultivating
entrepreneurial
mindsets
and
skills
into
educational
frameworks
universities.

the
relationship
between
critical
reading
abilities
and
discourse
analysis
(CDA)
competencies
among
future
21st
century
educators,
emphasizing

educators

skills

today's
demanding
educational
