Understanding the psychosocial factors influencing self-management behaviors among people with HIV (PWH) is crucial for effective medical interventions and improving their quality of life. However, there has been limited research exploring mechanisms PWH in China. Our study examined relationship between stigma, social support, self-esteem, PWH, as well whether support self-esteem mediate these relationships. Cross-sectional data were collected from 282 Sichuan Province, Data using four validated self-report measures (HIV Stigma Scale, HIV/AIDS Patient Self-Management Social Support Rating Self-Esteem Scale). Structural equation modeling was used to examine different pathways behaviors. All impacts on behavior outcomes found be significant. The final mediation model indicated that significantly mediated stigma These findings underscore importance addressing enhancing aimed at promoting PWH.

Throughout especially developing countries like Pakistan, individuals living HIV face several stressors regarding chronicity their diseases experience very high level post-traumatic stress. In this study, researchers examined impacts spirituality on health condition patients by applying quantitative research methods & techniques. Data were collected from registered at HIV/AIDS control centres districts Gujrat Sargodha. Non-random convenience sampling techniques applied, primary data was through structured questionnaire. Advanced statistical software SPSS-21 used empirical reliable results. The findings study indicated significantly psycho-social conditions patients.

Background People living with human immune deficiency virus (PLHIV) grapple distinct challenges, including HIV stigma which affects their antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence self-efficacy. This study investigates the interaction of and perceived social support on ART self-efficacy among adult PLHIV in South Africa. Methods utilized a cross-sectional design that involved 201 participants selected using time location sampling at tertiary health facility Durban. Results was significantly negatively associated (β = −7.860, t −4.654, p .001), variations across different levels −5.844, −4.003, .001). Social positively lower 7.440, 3.887, contrast to higher −2.825, 1.400, .163). Conclusion influences self-efficacy, particularly stigma, but effect weakens as intensifies.

Adherence to Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) is critical in controlling HIV. Poor medication adherence may lead higher disease mortality, increased HIV spread, and transmission of drug-resistant strains. Identifying the specific factors that contribute suboptimal people with crucial for developing effective, personalized interventions. This study conducted a cross-sectional analysis by enrolling individuals over 18 years age at single clinic Taipei, Taiwan, from December 2018 November 2020. Participants completed questionnaire collected demographic data, recreational drug use, comorbidities, history sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Medication Report Scale (MARS-5) was utilized assess treatment adherence. A multiple logistic regression model applied identify influencing total 831 PWH were included analysis. After demographics, independent risk associated poor among include presence depressive disorder (AOR:2·887, 95% CI:1·461-5·703, p = 0·002), acquired gonorrhea (AOR:2·026, CI:1·079 − 3·803, 0·028), methamphetamine use within past three months (AOR:2·073, CI:1·172-3·665, 0·012), HIV-1 RNA ≥ 40 copies/ml (AOR:5·221, CI:2·976-9·157, < 0·001) younger (AOR:0·959, CI:0·932-0·988, 0·006). To enhance adherence, targeted efforts are essential who young, have used months, experiencing disorders, or previously gonorrhea.

Antiretroviral therapy (ART) security policy in China has entered a new stage of diversification, and there are free ART, medical insurance self-funded ART. In recent years, some people living with human immunodeficiency virus(PLWH) have switched to ART from Therefore, this study analyzed the information those PLWH provide reference for improving China. A cross-sectional survey was used collect general characteristics, economic status, status 18 cities 6 provinces. The Chi-square test analyse whether differences between who did not were statistically significant.
