Summary Weight stigma, defined as pervasive misconceptions and stereotypes associated with higher body weight, is both a social determinant of health human rights issue. Obesity, eating disorders and unhealthy dieting practices among children adolescents are alarming health concerns due to their high prevalence adverse effects on physical psychosocial health. We present the evidence that obesity can be managed or prevented using same interventions in pediatric age. In presence of age, disordered behaviors highly prevalent, increasing risk developing disorders. The most frequently observed subjects with bulimia nervosa binge-eating disorders, both which characterized by abnormal weight-control behaviors.
