Acute
ischemic
stroke

disease
that
affects
almost
600
million
people
each
year
throughout
the
world
with
mortality
of
more
than
10%,
while
two-thirds
survivors
remain
disabled.
However,
available
treatments
for

limited
to
thrombolysis
and/or
mechanical
thrombectomy,
and
there

urgent
need

new
therapeutic

oxidative

endothelial
