The
fruits

Citrus
fruit
peel
contains
ample
amount
hesperidin
which
is
flavanone
glycoside
and
has
showed
effective

as
an
anti-inflammatory
compound.
Different
studies
have
investigated

Due
to

its
derivatives,
these
compounds
been
intensively
studied
for
their

Phytochemicals
are
a
non-nutritive
substances
that
present
in
plants
and
contribute
significantly
to
their
flavor
color.
These
biologically
active
compounds
classified
into
five
major
groups,
namely
phenolics,
carotenoids,
organosulfur
compounds,
nitrogen-containing
alkaloids,
known
for
potential
health
benefits
the
prevention
of
various
diseases,
including
cancer.
The
purpose
this
review
article
is
explore
therapeutic
dietary
phytochemicals,
such
as
flavonoids,
phenolic
acids,
phytosterols,
stilbenes,
cancer
treatment
based
on
epidemiological
studies

trials.

report
