BACKGROUND Social media listening can be leveraged to obtain authentic perceptions about events, their impact, guidelines and policies. There has been date no research that examined COVID-19 patients’ experiences from diagnosis treatment using social in the United Kingdom. OBJECTIVE This study aimed assess public perceptions, insights, sentiments throughout patient journey during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. METHODS A comprehensive search query was designed retrieve data refer treatment. The conducted monitoring tool, Synthesio (Ipsos). Data were retrospectively collected for period covering September 2022 Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube as well 126 forums (including Health Unlocked, Mums Net, Student Room Patient Forums UK). Available UK expressed English language filtered generating a final dataset consisting of 31,319 posts. Complimentary Google trend analyses terms mentioning treatments also performed. RESULTS Overall, observed posts relating extracted largely congruent with searches on Google. We had good understanding symptoms many expressing concerns severe symptoms. Negative attitude associated lack testing delay early part Finally, displayed high desire access information regarding CONCLUSIONS Findings this have potential inform decision-making health interventions, communication strategies, healthcare policies future emergencies.

<p>The development of the Internet, along with improvement patients&rsquo; digital skills, makes them competent in some matters medical care. The aim this study was to adapt Online Health Information Seeking Scale Russian-speaking sample establishment relationships such cyber phenomena as doomscrolling, cyberchondria, and social media addiction. In an all-Russian online survey conducted using service Toloka.AI, 1,025 people took part. toolkit included following questionnaires: (OHISS), Doomscrolling (DS), Cyberchondria Severity (CSS), Bergen Social Media Addiction (BSMAS). results showed that Russian version OHISS has a one-factor structure high internal consistency (Cronbach&rsquo;s &alpha; = 0.845; Mc&rsquo;Donald&rsquo;s &omega; 0.847). scores were statistically significantly positively correlated health information seeking not related age respondents, their income level education level. Women, respondents who are married separated, consider themselves be quite religious exposed more frequent searches for information. Empirical data obtained allow us adapted scale psychometrically sound diagnostic instrument recommend it solving practical research tasks.</p>

Patterns of Online Stress Management Information-Seeking Behavior in Hungary DOI Open Access

This paper examines the societal, demographic, and health-related determinants of online stress management information-seeking (OSMIS) behavior in Hungary. We processed International Social Survey Program: Health Healthcare (n = 1008) dataset 2021. Relationships between variables were assessed using weighted multiple logistic regression. The bootstrapping method was applied to gauge robustness reliability estimates. Subgroup analyses also utilized explore potential confounding effects OSMIS various socioeconomic lifestyle factors. Empirical findings indicate that socially excluded strata most likely seek information cope with stressful situations. significantly associated divorced marital status (OR 3.13; 95% CI: [1.92–5.17]), unemployment 2.22 [1.64–2.99]), living a rural village 1.39 [1.12–1.93]), distrust healthcare system 2.03 [1.33–3.11]). The Relationship Between the Fear of Coronavirus and the Hygiene Behaviors of Individuals During the Pandemic: A Study on Student Parents DOI Open Access

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between fear of Coronavirus and hygiene behaviors individuals during pandemic.The population study, which on parents students studying in a primary school center Bilecik province, consists 264 parents.In survey form consisting Socio-Demographic Information Form, Fear Scale COVID-19 Hygiene used as data collection tool.Correlation analysis, path independent sample t test one-way analysis variance were analyze data.According findings there is significant coronavirus has effect dimensions (p<0.05).In difference "Hand hygiene" "Social distancing mask use" terms gender; dimension "Hygiene when coming from outside" marital status; "Changing behaviors" age use", "Home educational status (p<0.05).There no according chronic disease positivity participants (p>0.05).According results it would be beneficial take measures related psycho-social situations well physical pandemic process.In addition, activities planned increase parents' awareness positive against infectious diseases that may occur at any time, even if period ends, will contribute better management possible epidemic processes both individual social levels.It thought studies different groups literature.
