Abstract Background: This study was conducted to determine the relationship between cardiometabolic phenotypes and atherogenic index of plasma in Azar cohort population. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 9,515 participants aged 35 55, using data from Cohort Study. Metabolic syndrome defined based on ATP III criteria. Participants were then classified into four by considering BMI metabolic components: metabolically healthy normal weight (MHNW, <25 kg/m²), unhealthy (MUHNW, obese (MHO, ≥25 (MUHO, kg/m²). AIP calculated. Result: Among subjects, 4,801 (50.5%) (MHO) 2,680 (28.2%) (MUHO). High-risk levels (>0.21) differed significantly across phenotypes, with MUHNW (79.6%) MUHO (64.6%) showing highest proportions compared MHNW (13.5%) MHO (18.6%). After adjusting for confounders, multinomial logistic regression analysis showed individuals third tertile 103.46 times more likely be (OR = 103.46, 95% CI: 52.82–202.64), 55.77 55.77, 45.65–68.12), 2.22 2.22, 1.91–2.64) phenotype (p < 0.001 all). Conclusion: The demonstrates significant variation high-risk emphasizing need detailed health assessments beyond predict cardiovascular risk better.

This is the first large-scale longitudinal study of children that describes temporal trajectories an extensive collection metabolic measures are relevant for lifelong cardiometabolic risk. We also provide a comprehensive picture on how metabolism develops into mature adult sex-specific phenotypes. Children born in 1962-92 were recruited by three European studies (n = 20 377 eligible). Biochemical data ages 0-26 years available n 14 958 participants 8385 with metabolomics). Age associations 168 (6 physiological traits, 6 clinical biomarkers, and 156 serum metabolomics measures) determined using curvilinear regression. Puberty effects calculated logistic regression biological sex pre- post-pubertal age strata. Age-specific concentrations reported all measures. Nonlinear typical, including insulin (R2 20.7% ±0.6% variance explained ±SE), glycerol (13.3% ±1.3%), glycoprotein acetyls (40.3% ±1.5%), branched-chain amino acids (19.5% ±1.6%). Apolipoprotein B was not associated (0.7% ±0.4%). Multivariate modeling indicated boys diverged from girls metabolically during 13-17 years. observed large high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (P 8.5 × 10-288), leucine < 2.3 10-308), glutamine albumin 1.7 10-161), docosahexaenoic acid 5.2 10-50), sphingomyelin 4.4 10-90). Novel between emerging risk factors, such as acetyls, growth puberty observed. Conversely, apolipoprotein stable, which favors its utility early assessments lifetime cardiovascular

Considering the increasing prevalence of obesity/overweight, its treatment or prevention with new interventions can greatly help health and reduce adverse effects in people. One these is investigating effect Survodutide as a dual agonist glucagon GLP-1 receptors, which seems to be able influence weight loss processes different ways. In this study, we investigated injectable on loss. order identify all randomized controlled trials that factores related obesity, systematic search was conducted original databases using predefined keywords until August 2024. The pooled weighted mean difference 95% confidence intervals were computed random-effects model. Findings from 18 arms 1029 participants indicated significant reductions (WMD: -8.33 kg; CI: -10.80, -5.86; I2 = 99.6%), body mass index (BMI) (WMD:-4.03 kg/m2; -4.86, -3.20; 72.7%), waist circumferences (WC) -6.33 cm; -8.85 -3.81; 99.5%) following injection compared control group. Subgroup analysis reveals longer (more than 16 weeks) higher doses 2 mg/week) are associated more WC. These results also observed meta-regression analysis. meta-analysis show effective reducing weight, BMI circumference, especially doses.
