Salivary gland-type intraductal carcinoma (IC) is a rare type of low-grade salivary gland neoplasm. Given that the clinical and imaging features primary lung IC are nonspecific, diagnosis requires pathologic analysis. We report 63-year-old woman with lung, characterized by an origin from bronchus submucosa, or intracavity growth ductal epithelium, absence interstitial infiltration, harboring RET::CCDC6 fusion. Through case presentation literature review, we discuss differential management lung. Molecular testing not necessary for histologic subtyping but can aid in IC.

Pediatric thoracic solid tumors encompass mediastinal tumors, chest wall and lung tumors. The pathogenesis is complex, the clinical presentation diverse, presenting numerous challenges in diagnosis treatment, which severely threaten life health of affected children. Angiogenesis provides nutritional oxygen support for tumor growth metastasis, while metabolic reprogramming meets unique energy material demands tumor. Both processes play key roles pediatric development. Therefore, targeting vasculature could be an important therapeutic strategy, exploring molecular mechanisms may provide a theoretical foundation targeted treatment. This review summarizes relevant experimental research on angiogenesis analyzes limitations current research, proposes solutions recommendations.
