An Integrated General Theory of Psychopathology and Suicide

Abstract
This
article
presents
biological
meta-theory
that
is
intended
to
serve
as
a
shared
key
progress
in
psychiatry
and
suicidology.
It
argues
diverse
forms
of
psychopathology,
widely
believed
cause
suicide,
may
instead
manifest
the
organism’s
last-ditch
efforts
avoid
lethal
outcome.
The
analysis
elaborates
on
pain-brain
theory,
which
views
suicide
costly
by-product
human
sapience,
with
cost
managed
by
serial
lines
evolved
anti-suicide
defenses.
last
these,
emergency
interventions
function
block
enacting
suicidal
ideas,
are
hypothesized
display

array
psychiatric
phenomena,
including
mood
disorders,
substance
behavioral
addictions,
psychoses.

In
the
current
conditions
of
ongoing
war
in
Ukraine,
which
began
February
2022,
Ukrainian
children
might
develop
post-traumatic
stress
disorder
(PTSD)
due
to
factors
caused
by
conflict
between
Ukraine
and
Russian-backed
separatist
forces,
along
with
Russian
military.
particular,
relationship

intelligence

more
relevant.

cognitive
changes
PTSD

depression,
anxiety,
event
segmentation.
The
methods
included
clinical
interviews
(CAPS-CA-5
