In the current conditions of ongoing war in Ukraine, which began February 2022, Ukrainian children might develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to factors caused by conflict between Ukraine and Russian-backed separatist forces, along with Russian military. particular, relationship reduced emotional intelligence development has become more relevant. This study aimed assess structural cognitive changes PTSD their depression, anxiety, event segmentation. The methods included clinical interviews (CAPS-CA-5 scale), neuropsychological tests (short-term long-term memory tests), self-assessment questionnaires (standardised CDI, RCADS SCAS-Child scales), a single-shotMRI. results showed that patients had hippocampal volume (p=0.018) cingulate cortex isthmus (p=0.026). Diffusion cerebellum-hippocampal tract was (p=0.014). level depression positively correlated (r=0.32, p=0.021) anxiety (r=0.26, p=0.048). These emphasise importance levels PTSD. Prospects for further research are based on effects psychotherapeutic interventions at improving function posttraumatic disorder.

Abstract This article presents biological meta-theory that is intended to serve as a shared key progress in psychiatry and suicidology. It argues diverse forms of psychopathology, widely believed cause suicide, may instead manifest the organism’s last-ditch efforts avoid lethal outcome. The analysis elaborates on pain-brain theory, which views suicide costly by-product human sapience, with cost managed by serial lines evolved anti-suicide defenses. last these, emergency interventions function block enacting suicidal ideas, are hypothesized display an array psychiatric phenomena, including mood disorders, substance behavioral addictions, psychoses. etiology syndromes explained three parts. First, psychopathology associates ideation because two outcomes share causal root: individual’s experience chronic psychological pain (psychache), subject threshold intellectual maturation. An system utilizes these inputs evaluate risk release commensurately severe countermeasures, non-specifically psychopathology. Second, configuration symptoms determined other aspects individual differences: reflecting contextual needs, individualized blends motivational and/or cognitive modifications seek make escape unnecessary impracticable. Third, can be understood often-observed, heterogeneous clusters symptoms, combined psychache side effects. model integrates ultimate proximate explanation, aligns epidemiological record, yields testable predictions. offers foundations for advancing research, policy, clinical practice prevention mental health.
