Abstract Metal‐organic framework derived materials received a lot of attention due to their significant benefits in photocatalytic reactions. In this work, Z‐scheme ZnIn 2 S 4 /Bi 3 hierarchical heterojunction is first developed by one‐pot method using CAU‐17 as template. The specific preparation endows an intimate interface contact between these two monomers, and CAU‐17‐derived Bi possesses high surface area porosity, resulting efficient charge separation O capture. Thus, for H production from the reduction reaction, can achieve yield 995 µmol L −1 pure water ambient air under visible light, 4.5 times that , respectively. addition, tetracycline solution, degrade with degradation rate 95% photocatalysis, at same time, final 1223 reached. Similarly, yields are also obtained wastewater containing o ‐nitrophenol, acid golden yellow, or red, pollutants effectively degraded. This work reveals potential metal‐organic framework‐derived well provides insights into green synthesis treatment.

The ongoing challenge of water pollution necessitates innovative approaches to remove organic contaminants from wastewater. In this work, new two-dimensional S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts Bi2O3/CdS and MoS2/Bi2O3/CdS that are intended for the effective photocatalytic destruction 4-nitrophenol, a dangerous pollutant, synthesized characterized. Utilizing solvothermal method, successfully generated these ternary nanocomposites, which were characterized through various techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), high resolution transmission electronmicroscopy (HRTEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Telle (BET) diffuse reflectance (DRS). Our results demonstrated achieved an 86% degradation rate while composite exhibited exceptional performance, achieving nearly complete (99%) within 120 min under visible light irradiation. Most importantly improved activity originated release internal electric field in heterojunction. This enhanced is attributable synergistic effects heterojunctions facilitate more charge separation generation with OP RP confirmed synthesis using S-scheme. further by XPS, DRS, XPS-VB photocurrent response. These findings highlight promising application advanced real-world wastewater treatment processes, offering sustainable solution combat pollution.

Abstract A novel Fe‐g‐C 3 N 4 /Bi 2 MoO 6 (FCNB) Z‐scheme heterojunction enriched with oxygen vacancy is constructed and employed for the photo‐Fenton degradation of tetracycline (TC). The 2% FCNB demonstrates prominent catalytic performance mineralization efficiency TC wastewater, showing activity 8.20 times greater than that pure photocatalytic technology. Abstract Herein, a novel bismuth tungstate and cadmium sulfide (CdS/Bi 2 WO 6 )step‐scheme (S‐scheme) heterojunction piezocatalyst for the first time is developed. The exceptional piezocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction activity (1.37 mmol L −1 g h ) delivered, which significantly higher compared to pure CdS (0.06 bare Bi (0.45 ), showing an almost 23‐fold 3‐fold increase, respectively. This performance greatly exceeds previously reported piezocatalysts piezo‐photocatalysts. Meanwhile, this catalyst also holds outstanding hydrogen evolution rate of 1.02 . Relevant experimental density functional theory (DFT) calculations results demonstrate that excellent catalytic capacity CdS/Bi mainly ascribed construction S‐scheme heterojunction, promotes piezoelectric performance, enhances segregating efficiency charge carriers redox capacity, regulates electronic structure, optimizes dynamics processes reduces reactions barrier, induces more active sites. Furthermore, new mechanism proposed. research extends applications heterojunctions in sustainable energy piezocatalysis offers insights designing efficient systems.

Abstract The photocatalytic cycloaddition reaction between CO 2 and epoxide is one of the most promising green routes for utilization, which high performance photocatalysts are intensely desired. Herein, we have constructed an S‐scheme heterojunction MIL‐125@ZIF‐67 modified by amino groups, achieves a cyclic carbonate yield as 99 % without employing any co‐catalyst, outperforming previously reported photocatalysts. In‐situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) in‐situ electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) reveal important role photogenerated migration from Lewis acid (Co) sites to O atom in triggering its ring‐opening (the rate‐determining step reaction) under assistance hole. Synergistically concurrently, base (amino groups) activate *, facilitating following cycloaddition. Such synergistic effect provides favorable approach design efficient heterogeneous with dual/multiple‐active reaction.
