Abstract
The
context
of
retirement
has
changed
over
the
last
decades,
but
there
is
little
knowledge
on
whether
quality
adjustment
as
well.
Changes
in
regulations
and
historical
differences
resources
may
affect
increase
inequalities
between
different
socioeconomic
groups.
In
present
study,
we
investigated
by
comparing
cross-sectional
samples
retirees
from
1996,
2002,
2008,
2014,
based
population-based
German
Ageing
Survey.
Adjustment
was
measured
with
three
indicators
(perceived
change

after
retirement,
satisfaction,
difficulties).
Retirement
satisfaction

Abstract
Successfully
adjusting
to
retirement,
in
terms
of
achieving
psychological
comfort
with
one's
retirement
life,
represents
a
major
challenge
for
older
workers.
Although
current
literature
emphasizes
that
it
may
depend
on
the
availability
and
fluctuation

resources,
little
is
known
about
which
types

resources
allow
recent
retirees
adjust
retirement.
Drawing
resource‐based
dynamic
model
adjustment

Objectives
Recent

Abstract
Background
Within-person
growth
in
life
satisfaction
(LS)
can
protect
against
declines
cognitive
functioning,

conversely,

Abstract
Retirement
from
work
is
a
major
life
event
requiring
adaptation
to
new
circumstances.

resource-based
dynamic
model
of
retirement
adjustment
suggests
