The incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and alcohol-associated (ALD) is increasing year by due to changes in the contemporary environment dietary structure, an important public health problem worldwide. There urgent need continuously improve understanding their mechanisms develop novel therapeutic strategies. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have shown promise as a potential strategy studies NAFLD ALD. ALD different triggers specific progression are different, but both involve processes such hepatocellular steatosis fibrosis, cirrhosis, even carcinoma. MSCs metabolic regulatory, anti-apoptotic, antioxidant, immunomodulatory effects that together promote injury repair functional recovery, demonstrated positive results preclinical studies. This editorial continuum Jiang et al ’s review focusing on advantages limitations derivatives therapeutics for They detail how attenuate modulating molecular pathways involved glucolipid metabolism, inflammation, oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum fibrosis.
