Spiritual intelligence (SI) has recently gained traction in various fields, including nursing. Given the increasing emphasis on patient-centred care and holistic well-being of patients nurses, SI is particularly relevant nursing practice. Abstract The outcomes of a 40-h Spiritual/Existential Care training program (SpECi) for healthcare professionals on their patients' treatment satisfaction (n = 774) were evaluated. Most patients felt supported in spiritual needs by the staff (79–81%). This was highest hospices and palliative care units (Eta 2 .065, p < .001). Spiritual care is an integral component of palliative and addresses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual needs patients their families. This study aimed to determine hospitalized in Turkey provide insights into culturally sensitive practices. descriptive, cross-sectional was conducted with 108 a public hospital between July 2022 December 2023. Data were collected using sociodemographic questionnaire Turkish version Needs Assessment Scale. The average age participants 72.43 ± 15.53, 50% women. most frequently reported “compassion kindness” (59.3%), “feeling hopeful” (55.5%), “gratitude” (54.6%), “inner peace” (52.8%), “companionship” (51.9%). Existential relational dimensions, such as feeling connected world receiving love, identified data. findings underscored need for holistic approaches that integrate spiritual, cultural, psychosocial dimensions care. Standardizing practices incorporating them health professionals’ training could enhance quality settings.
