ABSTRACT: Computer and internet addiction as well compulsive social media use have become significant problems for adolescents. Residential summer camps offer the opportunity campers to experience a digital detox in supportive setting where devices are not available. A retrospective chart analysis of health clinic logs ages 8-18 at an 8-day residential Christian athletic camp 2023 asked: What percentage visits were due symptoms consistent with technology withdrawal, did utilization differ based on gender? Visits sleep (6%) anxiety (2%) had highest likelihood being withdrawal; female more than males. Nursing interventions concerns relevance biblical spiritual care adolescent discussed.

Introduction Emotional disorders are highly prevalent among adolescents, with a high rate of comorbidity. Convenient and effective treatment options needed to reduce costs improve effectiveness. The unified protocol for transdiagnostic emotional in adolescents (UP-A) is an evidence-based approach aimed at ameliorate symptoms. objective this study assess the efficacy UP-A Chinese using multidimensional evaluations. Methods analysis This two-armed, randomised controlled trial on 12 week along their parents. Forty-eight participants will be randomly assigned either as usual (TAU) group or TAU combined (UP-A+TAU) group. We evaluate UP-A, through following primary secondary outcomes: disorder severity, symptoms, emotion regulation, cognitive patterns, executive function, resilience, quality life, social family functioning. Participants assessed baseline (T1), 4 (T2), 8 (T3), post-treatment (T4) 3 month follow-up (T5). Discussion outlines first investigating disorders. findings may contribute providing feasible intervention clinical settings. Ethics dissemination has been approved by Clinical Research Committees Peking University Sixth Hospital performed under Declaration Helsinki Medical Involving Human Subjects Act (WMO). results disseminated peer-reviewed journal conference presentation. High-functioning depression (HFD) is described as experiencing depressive symptoms such fatigue, anhedonia, poor concentration, guilt, restlessness, sleep disturbances, and appetite changes without a lack of functioning or significant distress. The purpose this study to characterize the clinical correlates HFD. This entailed descriptive, cross-sectional design based on interviews administered to120 English-speaking participants with HFD (aged 18-75). interview involved administering semi-structured Analysis Questionnaire, Joseph Inventory, Trauma Anhedonia Scale in single, 30-minute session for each participant. Big traumas, defined extremely traumatic events, were analyzed by trauma inventory. Out 120 participants, 72 (60%) demonstrated HFD, 17 (14%) very A correlation was observed between anhedonia marital status, post hoc tests showed that average score higher married partnered than those who single (p=0.038). Introduction. The COVID-19 pandemic saw an increase in substance use and anxiety among adolescents. Although resilience can have a protective effect against both, there is dearth of studies examining these relationships Mexico. Objective. To determine the association between frequency alcohol use, as well symptomatology, high school students southern Veracruz during pandemic. Method. A cross-sectional, analytical study was administered at nine schools Veracruz. Online questionnaires were used to assess students’ resilience, consumption patterns, symptoms. These assessments conducted using three instruments: RESI-M for ASSIST consumption, DASS-21 symptomatology. Descriptive associative statistics used. Results. total 2,194 adolescents included, whom 78.6% had low or medium level resilience; 28.3% reported lifetime 22.0% past months. 25.8% symptoms severe extremely anxiety.
