Identifying
the
causes
and
fitness
consequences
of
intraspecific
variation
in
cognitive
performance
is
fundamental
to
understand
how
cognition
evolves.
Selection
may
act
on
different
traits
separately
or
jointly
as
part

(GCP)

have
examined
simultaneously

across

In
this
conceptual
analysis
contribution
to
the
special
issue
on
radical
embodied
cognition,
we
discuss
how
cognition
can
exist
with
and
without
representations.
We
explore
concept
through
lens
of
judgment
decision-making
in
sports
(JDMS).
Embodied
has
featured
many
investigations

behavior,
but
no
single
approach
emerged.

Judgment
and
decision
making
in
sporting
officials
is

ABSTRACT
Recently,
there
has
been
a
surge
in
cognition
research
using
non‐avian
reptile
systems.
As
diverse
group
of
animals,
reptiles
[turtles,
the
tuatara,
crocodylians,
and
squamates
(lizards,
snakes
amphisbaenids)]
are
good
model
systems
for
answering
questions
related
to
cognitive
ecology,
from
role
environment
on
brain,
behaviour
learning,
how
social
life‐history
factors
correlate
with
learning
ability.
Furthermore,
given
their
variable
structure
degree
sociality,
studies
have
shown
that
living
is
not
pre‐condition
learning.
Past
demonstrated

just
instinctive
reactions

cognition.
Despite

Well-being
and
cognition
are
linked
in
adulthood,
but
how
the
two
domains
interact
during
development
is
currently
unclear.
Using
a
complex
systems
approach,
we
preregistered
modeled
relationship
between
well-being
prospective
cohort
of
1,136
children
ages
6
to
7
years
15
years.

found
bidirectional
interactions
that
unfold
dynamically
over
time.
Higher
externalizing
symptoms
childhood
predicted
fewer
gains
planning
time
(standardized
estimate

vocabulary

loneliness
