Abstract Importance Large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s ChatGPT are powerful generative systems that rapidly synthesize natural responses. Research on LLMs has revealed their potential and pitfalls, especially in clinical settings. However, the evolving landscape of LLM research medicine left several gaps regarding evaluation, application, evidence base. Objective This scoping review aims to (1) summarize current accuracy efficacy medical applications, (2) discuss ethical, legal, logistical, socioeconomic implications use settings, (3) explore barriers facilitators implementation healthcare, (4) propose a standardized evaluation framework for assessing LLMs’ utility, (5) identify future directions applications. Evidence We screened 4,036 records from MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, medRxiv, bioRxiv, arXiv January 2023 (inception search) June 26, English-language papers analyzed findings 55 worldwide studies. Quality was reported based Oxford Centre Evidence-based Medicine recommendations. Findings Our results demonstrate show promise compiling patient notes, assisting patients navigating healthcare system, some extent, supporting decision-making when combined with human oversight. utilization is limited by biases training data may harm patients, generation inaccurate but convincing information, socioeconomic, privacy concerns. also identified lack methods evaluating effectiveness feasibility. Conclusions relevance thus highlights questions address these limitations further enhancing delivery.

Implementing a reform in medical education requires students' awareness regarding the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) modern practice. The objective this study was to investigate perceptions AI education. A cross-sectional survey conducted from June 2021 November using an online questionnaire collect data students Faculty Medicine at Kuwait University, Kuwait. response rate for 51%, with sample size 352. Most (349 (99.1%)) agreed that would play important role healthcare. More than half (213 (60.5%)) understood basic principles AI, and (329 (93.4%)) showed comfort terminology. Many (83.5%)) believed learning about benefit their careers, (289 (82.1%)) should receive teaching or training. revealed most had positive AI. Undoubtedly, future medicine will be significant, AI-based practice is required. There strong consensus not replace doctors but drastically transform healthcare practices.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the ground-breaking innovations 21st century that has accelerated digitalization societies. ChatGPT a newer form AI-based large language model can generate complex texts are almost indistinguishable from human-generated text. It already garnered substantial interest people due to its potential utility in variety contexts. The current study was conducted evaluate generating accurate, clear, concise, and unbiased information could support scientific research process. To achieve this purpose, we initiated queries on both versions regarding digital school leadership teachers’ technology integration, two significant topics currently discussed educational literature, under four categories: (1) definition leadership, (2) skills principals, (3) factors affecting (4) impact integration. Next, performed comparative analysis responses generated by ChatGPT-3.5 ChatGPT-4. results showed were capable providing satisfactory compatible with relevant literature. However, ChatGPT-4 provided more comprehensive categorical as compared ChatGPT-3.5, which produced superficial short-cut. Although promising aiding process technologies, should also caution that, their form, these tools still infancy, there long way go before they become fully supporting work.
